An adaptation of Marcel Proust’s novel La Prisonniére, the film focuses on how love can become an obsession. Simon lives in an apartment with his grandmother and Arianne, with whom he is obsessively in love. He constantly follows her, wants to know everything about her, and suspects that she is having an affair with an opera diva. Life becomes harder and harder for Arianne.
